the
            dorn method

Dieter Dorn was a saw mill worker. He injured his back when he lifted
a heavy object, about 30 years ago. He heard about an old farmer
who could help relieve his back pain. He visited the old farmer who
treated his back by pressure of his thumb and a few simple moves,
        he was pain free.
Dieter Dorn learnt the method from the old farmer
as it was so easy. The old farmer not long after died and Dieter
Dorn's first patient was his wife who suffered from headaches. He
treated her with the same technique and her headaches vanished just
            like his back pain.
          Mr. Dorn taught the layman
how to help relieve themselves of backpain. He taught many
therapists to use this treatment. This was the start of the Dorn
Method and is now one of the first choices of spinal and joint treatment
        in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
It is a gentle yet effective
therapy for back pain, sciatica, neck ache, whiplash and peripheral
joints. It is also well known that there are connections with misaligned
vertebrae on health problems. When the misaligned vertebra is corrected
often the health problem disappears, e.g. back and neck pain, sciatica,
            headaches, tiredness, digestive problems.
The Dorn Method is so gentle
that, unlike some other methods, the pelvis, vertebrae and other
joints can be corrected without any risk. It is a gentle 'fix it
in motion' method which can be controlled by the patient himself.
No force or twisting or cracking methods are used.
          The Dorn Method
has a holistic approach and a unique self help therapy guide that
enhances its therapy that gives longer lasting results.
The Dorn Method and Breuss Spinal Massage are 2 easy to learn techniques

in short 1 or 2 day seminars.
There are ongoing and advanced Dorn Method Seminars.
It can be learnt by all therapists who have an interest to work with back and
neck ache.
